Set in a heritage four-story shophouse in Chinatown’s Keong Saik belt, Lime House opened its doors in 2013 and introduced the Caribbean concept of “liming”, which means hanging out with friends.

Inspired by all things Caribbean, Lime House puts you at east as you tuck into a delicious menu full of both fine-dining and traditional Caribbean dishes with an Asian twist and an extensive rum collection. From spicy shrimp and Bajan fish tacos to Trinidad roti with curry goat and the famous Jamaican jerk chicken, you can kick back together with a rum cocktail house special.

FRESHLY MADE AUTHENTIC CARIBBEAN CUISINE

Caribbean cuisine is a colourful mix of spicy, fun foods often drenched —literally—in island flavours. Meats are flavoured with marinades and dry rubs and smoked in a closed pit environment to deliver jerked food delight.

Caribbean cuisine incorporates vegetable, fruits and spices commonly spread among the isles — plantain, lima beans, black eyed peas, corn, yams, cassava, taro, manioc, corn, hog plums, mamee applesguava, and star apples.

CHRIS

Chris is a native of Trinidad & Tobago, where he spent his childhood before growing up in London. He moved to Singapore more than 10 years ago and founded Lime House to showcase his love for the food, the rum and all things Caribbean. As a self-proclaimed 'cultural entrepreneur' and our Limer in Chief, Chris's vision is to create a relaxed atmosphere that will seed the Caribbean concept of limin' across the world.  Contact Chris at chris@limehouse.asia.

ANDY

Andy is a native Singaporean with over 30 years experience in some of the most famed hotel restaurant kitchens in the city.  He came on board Lime House almost 10 years ago and manages kitchen operations at both Singapore outlets.  As a classically trained Italian chef with additional experience in local and French cuisine, he is continuously experimenting with ways to elevate traditional Caribbean food by infusing it with Asian and European flavours and techniques as our Head Chef.  Contact Andy at andy@limehouse.asia.

THOMAS

Thomas was born and bred in Slovakia, but is now our very own award-winning bartender.  As the Lime House Bar Captain, he manages all aspects of our bar operations across both Singapore locations while still mixing his delicious creations from behind the bar.  In addition to winning awards at cocktail competitions in Europe and Singapore, you might also run into him doing guest shifts at some of the finest cocktail bars in the region.  Contact Thomas at thomas@limehouse.asia.

LAFFI

Laffi, a native of Jamaica, is our resident limer who brings some Caribbean authenticity to our Singapore locations.  Quick with a smile and quicker with a drink, you'll find him behind the bar at one of our Singapore locations holding court from behind the bar.
